Women, Wellness, and Weed

An Interview with Stacy Thompson of The Women of Cannabis Conference

We’re continuing to celebrate the A-Blazing mother’s working the cannabis industry! I had the pleasure to sit down with mother of two, Stacy Thompson , CEO of Canna Closet. On this beautiful Spring day in #Texas, she shared her trials, triumphs, and excitement leading up to her 2nd Annual Women of Cannabis Conference 2019 as a female entrepreneur carving space in the industry for women warming up, or nuking their niche in the wonderful #weed world.

From crackers & soda to settle a tummy ache to picking perfect family insurance plans, women make 90% of all healthcare decisions in the home, and 80% of healthcare purchases. Seemingly instinctive, #Women just know which ingredients help us to be our best selves.

With #wellness at the forefront and the cannabis paradigm shifting with the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill, #CBD infused products are on the rise. Add to that, women are the fastest growing demographic of #weed users at 53% and make up an average of 27% of the industry, then it’s beyond doubt more women entrepreneurs are needed to engage in the ever budding #cannabis industry.

Founder of the Women of Cannabis Conference and CEO of Canna Closet , Stacy Thompson, set out to do just that by providing women, and men alike a nurturing environment to bond & thrive . With a Daula background, Stacy has the emotional, spiritual and educational elements needed to build confidence in women to go for their dreams.
